Publish Voting Result

Make voting event results public.

Pepvote uses the Publish Result setting to control access to results after a voting event ends.

Turn on result publishing

In the voting event settings, open Result Settings and enable Publish Result.

The setting description in the app is: allow access to result when the voting event has ENDED.

When published results become available

Pepvote only makes the result publicly available after both of these are true:

  • The voting event has ended
  • Publish Result is enabled

If the voting event has not ended yet, this setting does not make the final public result available on its own.

What publishing affects

After the voting event ends and the result is published:

  • The public result page can show the result for that voting event code
  • Candidates, voters and other participants can access results based on the app's result visibility rules

Who can still view results before publishing

Owners, managers, and observers can still view results from the dashboard based on their access level.

Publishing mainly controls post-event visibility for broader audiences, including the public result page.
