How to create an election
Step-by-step guide to create and prepare a new election on PepVote.
Steps
Sign in and go to Dashboard → My Elections.
Click New Election.
Fill in:
- Election title (required)
- Description (optional)
- Starts At (optional)
- Ends At (optional)
Save.

Important notes
- If both dates are set, end time must be after start time.
- If no date is set, the election stays in Draft state.
- PepVote automatically generates a unique election code.
What to do right after creation
- Add positions.
- Add candidates.
- Add voters.
- Review settings and voting settings.
- Invite your supporting election team if needed.
