How confirmation codes and the votes table help verify vote records.
Confirming votes
After submitting votes, each voter receives a confirmation code.
The confirmation code can be used on the confirm-votes page to verify:
- Voting Event title
- Position and selected candidate entries
- Submission time

Confirmation code behavior
- Codes are unique per voter submission batch.
- If a user enters digits without
CCprefix, Pepvote can still resolve by applying the expected format.
Counting and audit workflow
Voting Event teams can use the votes table to:
- Search by confirmation code
- Review vote records
- Export vote records to CSV
This supports post-voting event verification and reporting.
