Confirming votes

After submitting votes, each voter receives a confirmation code.

The confirmation code can be used on the confirm-votes page to verify:

• Voting Event title
• Position and selected candidate entries
• Total confirmed vote count
• Submission time

Confirmation code behavior

• Codes are unique per voter submission batch.
• If a user enters digits without CC prefix, Pepvote can still resolve by applying the expected format.

Counting and audit workflow

Voting Event teams can use the votes table to:

• Search by confirmation code
• Review vote records
• Export vote records to CSV
• Recount votes when the plan supports it

This supports post-voting event verification and reporting.
