ARD UCH adopts PEPVOTE

ARD UCH and Pepvote logos on the original election announcement

On Dec 14, 2018 The Association of Resident Doctors University College Hospital Ibadan (ARD UCH) used pepvote to their elect new executives. Their where multiple polling units for voters to cast their votes. The voting process commenced between 08:00 AM − 04:00 PM . The election took place in the University College Hospital Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

Few Details about the EDUICT 2018A EXCOS Election

The Election had:

  • NO PARTIES
  • 8 Posts - 2 Posts had no Aspirants
  • 8 Registered and Approved Aspirants
  • 660 Registered and Approved Voters (Resident Doctors)
  • 5 Polling Officers (PEPVOTE TEAM) with multiple Polling Units
  • About 3 Observers (Agents) per Polling Unit

  • Tablets
  • Mobile Phones

Polling Units

  • ARD Lounge Unit
  • ARD Dental Unit
  • Mobile Unit 1 & 2 (to allow doctors who were busy in the theatre to cast their votes)

Some Election Specs

  • The voters were happy that they were able to confirm their votes
  • All Observers (Agents) representing the best interest of a certain Aspirant were provided a means to follow up with the election by knowing how many people have voted so far at any point in time

At the end of the election, election results from each polling unit was merged as the election committee and agents verified the integrity of the result.

Accepted Verified Results

The verified result was accepted by the election committee and agents. After which the printed results where signed by the Election Chairman and the Pepvote Team Head and The election was declared free, fair and void of electoral malpractices.
